Pig Ears Company New Zealand, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, is responsible for personal information collected through pigears.co.nz. You can reach us at theteam@customersupport.care.
What we collect, and why
- Order details: your name, email address, delivery address and phone number, and what you bought. We need these to take and deliver the order.
- Payment: handled by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- Support: anything you send us by email, kept with the order so the next person to read it has the context.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, loaded only if you accept analytics cookies. Decline and it is not loaded at all.
Who we share it with
- Stripe and PayPal, to take the payment.
- Resend, to send you the order confirmation.
- Supabase, which holds the order record.
- Vercel, which hosts the site.
- The carrier, to deliver the parcel.
Some of these process data outside New Zealand. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the processor's own contractual safeguards.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, which is what New Zealand tax record-keeping requires. Support email is kept with the order. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
