Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use pigears.co.nz and when you buy from us. Using the site means you accept them. We can change them, and the version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.

Who you are buying from

Pig Ears Company New Zealand is a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, Company registration (Thailand) 0765554000332. Our new zealand administration office is 8 Commerce Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand, and our registered address is 47 Moo 1, T. Nawoong, Meaung, Phetchaburi 76000, Thailand. Both are on the contact page.

Orders and prices

• Prices are in New Zealand dollars and are shown on the product page and in the cart before you pay. No GST is added at checkout.
• Delivery is added at the cart, at the rates on our shipping page.
• An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email, and we can decline an order, for example where a price or a stock level is wrong.
• Pig ears are sold in packs of 12, 50 and 100. The toy is sold singly.

Delivery

Orders are handled in 24 to 48 hours and then take five to seven days, varying by location. If we cannot ship in the time we have told you, or within 30 days where no time was given, we will contact you and you can agree to the delay or cancel for a prompt refund.

Returns

Our refunds and returns policy is part of these terms. There is no general cooling-off period for buying goods online in New Zealand, so that policy is what governs a change of mind, and it is published in full including its fees.

Using this site

The text, images, illustrations and other material on this site are for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, redistribute, sell or republish them without our written permission, and do not use the site on behalf of another business without asking us first.

Do not upload or transmit anything through this site that carries harmful code, that is defamatory, obscene or discriminatory, or that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.

You need to be 18 or older to buy from us. If you are under 18, use the site only with a parent or guardian.

What we sell, and what it is for

Pig ears are a complementary treat for dogs, not a meal and not a medicine. We make no health, veterinary, dental or nutritional claim for anything sold here. Give a chew under supervision and take it away once it is small enough to swallow. The plush toy is a toy rather than a chew.

Liability

We are responsible for what the law makes us responsible for and no less. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable or for business losses. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. The limited liability and indemnity page sets out the detail.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and nothing here limits any right that law gives you.
